Recently featured on bbc breakfast news and as a full page article in the Sun was the story of two loving pet owners who created fluffy jumpers using the hair of their pet dogs! The couple, Beth and Brian Willis from Newcastle, collected thousands of dog hairs from their old Samoyed dogs (one of which died 12 years ago, the other in 2002!)
The couple believe it to be a special unique way of remembering their their beloved pets and they wear them regularly on weekend shopping trips.
According to the couple the jumpers are extremely comfortable and waterproof.
So watch out everyone, forget Ugg boots and Pashmina scalves, next years trend of dog fur coats is on it's way.........! (Does 101 dalmations come to mind?)
